Hi I'm Lacey

I'm a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, PR/marketing professional, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After growing up in the rainiest place on earth (Seattle, Washington), I’ve lived in Utah, Idaho, Florida, New York, California, Virginia and Arkansas. My career as a PR/marketing professional has given me the opportunity to manage traditional and social media for tech companies and financial institutions. I am the youngest of eight kids and I have 19 nieces and nephews! Through being a Mormon I have the opportunity to be with my family after we die.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know Jesus Christ lived on earth, died for all mankind, was resurrected, lives today and answers my prayers. Through His grace I am saved. I know Christ's church was restored in these latter-days through the prophet Joseph Smith. After Joseph Smith's death, I know the authority to be a prophet of God was passed down, and Thomas Monson is God's prophet on the earth today. I know the Book of Mormon is true and testifies of Christ's visit to America in ancient times. With this knowledge comes responsibility. I'm a Mormon because I know these things are true and am taking responsibility for this knowledge by living it.

How I live my faith

Through the roller coaster of life, I've learned to rely on the enabling power of the atonement (grace) of Jesus Christ. In my life, trials have come that I could not face on my own. Instead of praying for my circumstances to change, I prayed for the strength to endure my circumstances. A remarkable thing happened -- what once was one of the most difficult trials of my life led to me being the happiest I've ever been. I know no matter what trial I face (spiritual, temporal, etc.), when I turn to God He will allow that trial to be for my benefit.
