Hi I'm Christine Noel

I am Filipino American. I'm a southern gal who is quiet, down to earth and just me! I'm Mormon!

About Me

I was born in the Philippines, and adopted at the age of 2 weeks. I grew up in Tennessee. I love southern comfort, such as home cooked dinners, fall colors, and yes I do have a lil accent. I grew up with 2 brothers and 1 sister, who are all adopted as well. We are unique not only by our race but our individuality. I am very close to my family even when we don't agree. I am tom boy at heart with a girl attitude on the side. Typical things I enjoy doing would be, playing basketball, soccer, being in Karate, listening to music, XBOX 360 and Kinect. Also love playing the piano, singing, watching my nephews and niece, watching good movies, reading and a bunch more. I am pretty easy going, quiet in nature, love to listen and help others and staying true to my who I am. Some of my favorites would be the color blue, fried chicken and chocolate, Lady Vols Basketball, teddy bears, and Hello Kitty. I love my family, friends and my puppies. My Parents are amazing and have raised me to the person I am today. Grateful for their sacrifice and love. I love with all I am, and will not change myself for others.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be Mormon because I know without a doubt that is who I am supposed to be. I made that choice when I came to earth, and to follow Jesus Christ with all I am. I haven't always been active in the church, and in that time I thought I was going to be happy. When I returned back to going to church, taking on a calling and submitting my efforts in the gospel things definitely changed for me. I have so many obstacles thrown at me and struggle daily. But through all that, I still stand. I know it is because I choose Right! I love that the gospel offers us peace, caring and happiness. We may not always see why something is happening to us or understand why things can go wrong. What we can do, is stay close to the covenants made with Heavenly Father. Principles that are constant in my mind are, 1. Faith, 2. Repentance, Baptism, 4, The Holy Ghost, 5 Keep the Commandments and 6. Endure to the End. These look or may even seem hard, but yet are offered to us, to help return back to his presence. What a blessing and a promise! I am grateful for the testimony I have in this wonderful gospel, my faith in Jesus Christ and blessings that are given when doing what is right. I know that my ultimate goal is to be with my family forever and to live righteously through everything I do. Even when I am ready to give up and the pain is unbearable physically, and mentally.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through every day that is given me. I was raised in the church, so my view has not changed of how I believe in the true principles of the Gospel. What has changed is of course, things such as trials and challenges I face constantly. I cannot imagine myself without having my faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ and the love He has for each one us. I am blessed daily knowing that even when I do fall short and want to turn away from what I know, I can reach out to Heavenly Father for strength. He listens to me when I pray and plead for his help. I am thankful for that opportunity. It is not a easy thing to want to just keep going and not knowing how each day will be. But through my faith, constant examples from my great parents, our prophet, Thomas S. Monson and so many others prove to me that: "I am Worth it".
