Hi I'm Nathan Adamson

Raised in Moline, Illinois. I love watching and playing football. I am serving in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Sterling Illinois and lived in Moline Illinois with my parents until I was 18. I'm always smiling and love people! I played football and learned from it how to work hard for what I love. I sadly didn't try very hard in High School. I had given up on everything and was ready to accept a cruddy life. I have found a new attitude for life and worked hard to turn myself around! I moved to Utah with my Uncle and Aunt after I graduated. It was the Spirit that led me to Utah and I may not have served a mission if it wasn't for listening to the still small voice. I am serving in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission. I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ more than anything. That's why I am serving. I haven't always been strong in the church. In High School I fell away and NEVER wanted to serve. After things got really bad, my only option was to turn to the Lord. I realized that when you live your life for the Lord and not the things of this world, he will bless you beyond what we can imagine. I am serving my mission because I want others to feel the happiness that this Gospel brings into my life, even after getting to a very low point in life. I know that this Gospel blesses lives if we have the faith and are obedient.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my Mom always has been. My Dad is a convert. It's what I've grown up with. After awhile I realized I had been living off of my parents testimonies and not my own. I had to gain my own understanding for myself. It took me getting to my low point to realize I needed help. After countless prayers and reading of the scriptures, I realized that this was what I needed. I had asked my uncle to give me a blessing. He said in the blessing that I would become worthy to serve a full time mission and never look back. The Spirit testified to me that I would serve a mission no matter what. I am now serving my mission and haven't looked back. It was a tough road to get here. It has all been worth it though and I will never regret this decision to come back. What I went through has made me who I am today. It has built my testimony. I know that this church is true. Too many blessings have been poured into my life. The Spirit is too strong for it to not be true. While on my mission I have seen more blessings for me and also my family. I have seen others lives blessed. I have seen miracles that you only hear about from returned missionaries and say to yourself "that will never happen to me." Seeing those things has put an even stronger faith to my faith I had before. I can't deny anything in this gospel. It took myself getting on my knees and praying for answers and living by the commandments. My testimony grows stronger every single day. I invite everyone to continue to pray for answers. Member or non-member, we all need to progress and grow closer to Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to be Christlike at all times. I am serving my mission and hope to help others realize the blessings that are waiting for us. I follow the commandments that have been given to us. I try to live my faith at all times so others can see and I can be an example at all times.

What is being a Mormon like?

Nathan Adamson
It's just like being a normal person! We just live by the commandments of our Heavenly Father. It brings joy to your life that I can not explain. Prayer, Scripture Study, and being obedient to the commandments bring this joy. Show more Show less
