Hi I'm Tyler Cobb

I grew up in Spanish Fork Utah. I LOVE to play sports and anything outdoors, and i'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love playing sports, without them life would be boring! I try to keep active and to play different sports, but my favorite sport is basketball. As me and my friends grew up we played ball A lot. And when we weren't playing we were probably watching it. I also like Volleyball, Football, and Tennis. I also enjoy fishing and spending a day at the lake or in the mountains. I love the heat, and am not a big fan of the cold. I have a family of 5. My mom, dad, sister, brother and me. I am the oldest.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this Church is the only Church that is lead by Christ. I was blessed to have been born into a Family of Mormons. I made the choice to be baptized when I was 8 years old. Throughout my life I have received so much help from those around me. I was blessed to have an amazing family and amazing friends. I also had amazing leaders that I could look up to in the church. I love this Gospel so much, it is incredible how much it has affected my life for the better. I want to live Gods commandments, because it has brought me happiness, and it will bring me eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do what is right. We are constantly being attacked by media and technology, and we have to be careful not to be sucked into it. As i grew up, my family went through phases of having cable tv, and not having it. I look back on those times and see the contrast between the two lifestyle choices. Simply enough, i look back and regret all the time i wasted watching tv. Now, i try to liken this to when this life is over, and i am looking back on my life. I want to have no regret, and the only way to do that is follow Christ. So i guess how i live my faith, is by choosing to follow Christ. After I make that decision, all the others follow suit.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Tyler Cobb
They will talk about you and your relationship with God! All they care about is you, and so everything that they talk about is aimed toward helping you. The main focus is how you can gain a relationship with your Heavenly Father and better follow Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Tyler Cobb
They proselyte because they want to bring the joy that they have to others. God once told a prophet: "But verily I say unto you, that it is not needful for this whole company of mine elders to be moving swiftly upon the waters, whilst the inhabitants on either side are perishing in unbelief." They want to share the truth that we are blessed to have, and they want to help people! A scripture from the Book of Mormon describes it well: "Now they were desirous that salvation should be declared to every creature, for they could not bear that any human soul should perish; yea, even the very thoughts that any soul should endure endless torment did cause them to quake and tremble."
