Hi I'm Pamela Point

I am a Mormon and live in Texas. I have five girls with my husband Darrell Point. I am a convert.

About Me

I am a mother of five and love be apart of my children's lives. I love scrapbooking and using my cricut. I am always making things for my children and their classes with the cricut. I love volunteering and helping others. I have a degree as a medical assistant, however, I am a stay at home mom because I believe that is my most important job that I have.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because there is no other faith that I believe is true for me. Even when I was growing up in a different faith I felt out of place because I shared the believes of the Mormon faith without knowing that I did. So when I became a convert all I really did was change the title I went by because my believes stayed the same and now I know that I was always following Heavenly Father and not just being somebody without a strong faith in God.

How I live my faith

As the new year starts I plan to live my faith each day by reading our scriptures as a family both before school and after. I also plan to pray as a family both morning and night. I think that the other way that I live my faith is with the volunteering that I do. I think that by simply helping other people just to help them because it is the thing to do that, that is the most honest way to live my faith. I love the church and love being a member even if sometimes it is hard to be different especially for my children since they are the only members that go to their school. I hope to get a new car this year so that I am able to go to church each week and be a good library's assistance. I think another way I live my faith is by make sure that my children work on their own activities in church from Sunday school, to young women's, to activity day and even seminary. I feel it is very important that I insteal in my children just how important it is to fellow the word and keep the faith even when no one else around you is doing so.
