Hi I'm Collin

I'm a student, I've lived most of my life in Michigan, I struggle with my health, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was a college student for a while, studying international relations. Just like basically everyone else though, I really had no idea what I wanted to do. My passion is people, and that led to me wanting to serve others. That is why I am now serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Detroit Michigan mission. I love people and doing whatever I can with them, whether it is sports, playing games, watching something, or just laughing.

Why I am a Mormon

I've felt really lost and alone throughout my life. Even though I was born in the Church, it took me a long time to really gain a testimony for myself. It was at times of peak loneliness that I learned to turn to my Father in Heaven and ask Him for His love. He cares so much for all of us and He wants to help with everything. He allowed me to be comforted by the power of the Holy Ghost when I was alone. I testify of the endless love He has for all of us.

How I live my faith

I do my best to be an active participant in my local congregation along with my community. While in college, I served as a local leader for several of the wards I was in, ministering to the members of the ward. When I am home, I always put forth my best effort in doing whatever I can to help. Sometimes it is just a warm smile and a hug to members who may be alone. I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church though. I have devoted an entire block of my life to the Lord as I serve him 24/7/365. I walk the streets, knock on doors, and just do my best to bring the love of the Savior Jesus Christ in everyone's life.
