Hi I'm Michael

I'm a Husband. I'm a Father. I'm an Attorney. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

We're involved with theater, baseball, choir, school, gymnastics and whatever our kids are into. We love hiking, movies, reading, hanging out with cousins and grandparents. Family always comes first. As a prosecutor working with juveniles, I've seen the disastrous effects caused by the breakdown of the family. Quality time is the key.

Why I am a Mormon

There is nothing more comforting in this world than knowing that my family can be together forever. I love believing that all of humanity is one family and the awesome potential that truth holds. I have a testimony that my Heavenly Father loves me and my family, and that He loves all of his children.

How I live my faith

I help people find and improve their employment. My wife works with nursery age children. My kids are involved in Scouting, Young Women and Primary. I try to live my faith by being a good example and my example is the Savior and the traits that I see of Him in others.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

We live so that we might have joy. By exercising our free agency during our lives, we can make choices that lead to happiness or sadness. The purpose of life is to be a force for good. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

As a Mormon, I follow the Word of Wisdom, which are health guidelines received by revelation. It prohibits tobacco, alcohol, coffee, tea and illegal drugs. In addition, it contains a number of things that we should do to keep our bodies healthy, such as sleep, exercise and good nutrition. Modern science is continually proving all of the Word of Wisdom to be true. Show more Show less
