Hi I'm Jordan

I love music. I love playing the piano in hope to help people with whatever they may be experiencing. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student! I am learning to be a teacher to young children so that I will have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives, and hopefully all of our futures. I am the oldest of four children and started baby-sitting at a very young age giving me a special love for God's children. My passion is music, I absolutely love playing the piano! I spend my time studying and with close friends and family, and emailing my friends far away. I love to learn and enjoy strengthening my relationships with those around me.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I am a Mormon, or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know with all my heart it is true, and I cannot deny it. I have prayed to Heavenly Father to know if it is his true Church upon the earth today and he manifested to me through the Holy Ghost with a feeling of peace that this is his true Church and Gospel. I am a Mormon because I know it is true, and because through it I have found out who I really am and have found myself. I know I am a daughter of God who is always loved, even when I make mistakes, and that our Savior Jesus Christ is the only one who can truly heal us because he is the only one who understands exactly how we feel and knows exactly what we are going through. No one person or one thing can heal us except Jesus Christ as we put our trust in him and our Heavenly Father and let go of our burdens. I am a Mormon because this Church teaches me how to make my own burdens become light. I have grown up a member of the Church, but I have learned for myself it is true and that it is what I want to guide me in my life because through personal revelation from God I have learned it is what he would have me do and that it is all true. I am so thankful for this Gospel because I don't know what I would do without it. I would turn to worldly things and never truly face my problems and things that inevitably happen and would never truly be happy or know who I am or what my purpose is. I am a Mormon because I know who I am, where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. I know I am going to be okay.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith through consistency. I attend Church each Sunday no matter where I am and do my best to serve where I am asked and where is possible. I have found that Church is really what gets me through the week and provides me with the strength I need to complete everything I need to. It reminds me who I really am and what my priorities should be to always be worthy of receiving Heavenly Father's blessings. I also love Church because I am able to grow and learn from others who believe as I do. I have found that the more willing I am to serve and the more I do serve, the more I can feel of God's Spirit, helping me to get through whatever I may be experiencing. I lead the music in our Sunday meetings and sometimes teach young children when I am asked. Teaching others allows me to testify of what I know to be true and also increases my testimony of this restored Gospel. I am greatly able to express my love and talent of music and the piano through my faith by playing the piano for people to sing, playing special musical numbers, and leading music.
