Hi I'm Landon

Born and raised in California, I love to snowboard, Jet Ski, play Football and Work

About Me

I'm 21 and I've lived in California all my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything! Graduated high school in 2011. During high school i played football, snowboarded and worked full time cleaning charter buses at night. I love being active and doing things that cause me to work and have fun. I was always looking for ways to leave the house and go do something with friends. My buddies and i hit the slopes, beach, lake, and desert as often as possible. I love working on cars, trucks, and whatever else moves. I love hip hop and R&B, shredding it up on my sea doos with my buddies. Currently I'm shreddin' it up in the streets of Austin, Texas sharing Christs gospel with all those i see!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because it makes sense to me. I've read the bible and this is where it all comes together. I have spent my life going to church and i love it. I've been able to meet so many good people in the last 2 years and i love watching them make steps to come closer to god. This is the way back to the Kingdom!

How I live my faith

I try to be an example but have fun at the same time. Faith in Jesus is where it all begins. Trust in him and every thing will improve in your life like it did in mine. I grew up in the church like most people do and always thought the things they taught to be true. I didn't know for sure until i went to a small city called Nauvoo, IL. It was an awesome place and i'm glad i had the chance to go there. While i was there wondering if the teaching of the church were for me i just felt a powerful feeling that Joseph Smith was one of Gods prophets and that this was what i needed to follow. I read the Book of Mormon 3 times before that and never got anything. I think God knew if he answered that prayer it wouldn't have impacted me that way this trip with my family did. I remember sitting in a small room inside a Jail, hearing people talk about the prophet. I remember how i felt, how i was sitting and the time of day. It's a feeling that i won't be able to deny nor would i want to. I want to share that with people who don't have that knowledge and struggle in life.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

We love and support the Bible. I personally read something from it every day so that if some body asks me a question i will be able to know how to answer them. The Bible is an awesome book where we can know more about the life of Jesus. Show more Show less
