Hi I'm Ashley

I grew up in Kanosh, Utah. I'm a redhead. I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a nineteen year old red head from a small town. Growing up I lived the small town dream. Our population is somewhere around 500, so I know Everyone. It was like growing up with a massive family. haha oh wait they were mostly my family. I'm the I went to a very small High school. My graduating class had exactly 69 people. All throughout high school I was a volleyball girl. Volleyball was my life. I lived, breathed, ate, drank, slept, for volleyball. Because I'm only 63 inches tall I was the libero (defensive specialist) for my volleyball team. I would play with the high school team during the fall and then in the winter and spring I would play club volleyball. Volleyball camps filled the weeks of summer. I think that it's safe to say that I was obsessed. I just finished with my first semester at snow college. I loved it! I love how small it is. I love the people there. I love college! When I have free time I love to read, play just about any type of sport, socialize, sing (even though I'm tone deaf) eat food, swing dance, and just about anything that will make me smile or have a good time. about 2 months ago I received a mission call to the Tulsa, Oklahoma mission. I leave on January 15th for the Provo MTC, and I can't wait to serve!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because it makes me happy. When I am trying my best to live the principles of this church everything seems to fall into place. This church gives me a purpose, something to work towards, and helps me to know that I have a divine nature. I am a Daughter of God. He loves me, and he is involved with everything in my life, even the details. One of my very favorite things about the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that it makes fairy tales a reality. All my life I've watched Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, The Swan Princess, Beauty and the Beast and I've fallen in love with the idea of Happily Ever After. I have always wanted to be a princess. to love someone and be loved by someone perfectly for forever. Then have a family raise them and live with them forever too. That is exactly what our church believes. I know that when I find my future spouse we can be sealed for time and all eternity. I know that if we try our very best to live the way that Jesus Christ did I will live with my family foreever in my very own Happily Ever After

How I live my faith

Right now the only calling that I have is my missionary call. I get to go and teach other people in Oklahoma about this gospel and to share all of the happiness that comes when one is living the commandments.
