Hi I'm Brooke

I am from Utah. I am serving a mission in the Korea Seoul South Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small Utah town with a population of 5,000. In high school I played volleyball, basketball, softball, and track. I was also involved in Student Council, HOSA, FBLA, and National Honor Society. After graduating high school I submitted my mission papers and was called to serve in the Korea Seoul South Mission. I am currently in the MTC preparing to serve the people of Korea and I couldn't be more excited! I attended college in Hawaii the fall semester of 2013 and made many memories and great friends. I have three brothers, one sister, and two great parents.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family but that is not the only reason I am a Mormon. Through my own personal study and prayer I was able to find the answers to doubts and questions that I have had about religion. I have been truly converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a Mormon because I know that the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church upon this earth today. As a 14 year old boy, Joseph Smith did see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. I have read The Book of Mormon and know that it is the word of God. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who is aware of us and answers our prayers. Jesus Christ came to this Earth to live and die for me and through Him I can repent and become a better person. He is my Savior, my Redeemer, and my best friend. The Atonement is real, and it can heal us in ways we never thought possible.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through serving my community and church ward. I have organized and been apart of organized service projects that have taken place throughout my community and continue to serve when the opportunities arise. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have served in my ward as an adviser and teacher to the women in my ward. I am preparing to serve as a missionary and preach the gospel. I attend all my church meetings and activities and participate in Sunday school lessons and other lessons that take place.
