Hi I'm Adam

I'm from Los Angeles. I am a student at BYU. I am serving in the Philippines Cebu Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Southern California most of my life, until I got tired of the beautiful weather and started school at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I enjoyed the amazing community and the amazing snow for skiing right outside my doorstep. But once again, I am leaving that behind to serve a mission in Cebu, Philippines. I am just about to embark on this adventure that I hope will only bring me ever closer to my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I know with a surety that the full Gospel of Jesus Christ, which this church proclaims, is true. I know that there is peace and comfort in following the Lord, and that in following his commandments, we will be blessed. I was raised in this church, but through my life I have also seen and followed after the ways of the world. I have felt an absence of the Holy Spirit, and been blessed by the Atonement through repentance. I know that there is truth in the Gospel. There is comfort that can be found here which can be matched by nothing else on this Earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through music. I have been the music director in several callings. I love to do all I can to spread the love and beauty of the Earth through bright, wonderful music. It has such power to cause us to feel happiness, sadness, love and courage. Music can connect us with our feelings so powerfully, it can be such a wonderful tool for the Spirit to connect to even the hardest of hearts. With this tool, we can reach out to our neighbors, and welcome them in. This serves, to me, to be such a great example of how to be a powerful missionary and an exemplary member of God's kingdom.
