Hi I'm Claire

I like to dance, read scriptures, and work on personal progress. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in high school, I read when ever I get a chance and I am a "ballerina". (Not the girly kind) I love to travel and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was raised in the church and believe in everything that is taught. I finished the Book of Mormon this summer and I know it is true. I am reading it again and am finding it very enlightening.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, I am the first counselor to the Mia-Maid President in my ward ( that is the youth group for 14-15 girls), I go to mutual every week, and I go to stake dances when ever possible.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries will talk about the plan of salvation (what happens after we die), and the Atonement (when Jesus died for us). Show more Show less

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

We need a Savior because no one is perfect and we have all committed sin, but because of the Savior's atonement (when he died on the cross), we can be redeemed through repentance and live forever with our father in heaven. Show more Show less

Who are the Mormons?

Mormons are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 2010 there were 14 million members in the world. The church headquarters is in Salt Lake City Utah. We believe in the Bible and The Book of Mormon which is an account of Jesus visiting the Americas. We are called "Mormons" because we believe in the Book of Mormon. It was originally a derogatory term, but we adopted it because that's how people remembered us. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is difficult. but in my heart I know I am doing the right thing. Whenever someone at school talks about Mormons in a negative way, I think of what I will gain when I die and are redeemed to the Celestial Kingdom where Heavenly Father lives. Show more Show less
