Hi I'm Abby

I'm a 24 year old born & raised in Utah. I'm a wife and mother, traveler, skiier, family lover & ice-cream eater. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah County. I am a skiing, cycling, mexican-food-eating wife and mom to a handsome red head and beautiful baby boy. I play the viola and am a Dental Hygienist. I enjoy biking in the summer and skiing in the winter, eating copious amounts of popcorn, and taking family selfies! My favorite chore is the laundry and I love to mow the lawn. Among the many hats I wear, my favorite are those of wife and mother! I hope to one day have lots of little children at my feet with sticky, smiling faces.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because by living the gospel, my life is a happy, positive, encouraging endeavor. To have something to rely on as sure and sound as a gospel of love and happiness is reason enough for me to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Through any hardship that I may come upon or any trial that I go through, I know that I always have a loving Heavenly Father to call to, and a huge moral support group here on earth. I am grateful to know that I am sealed to my husband and son for time and for ALL eternity! I still get butterflies at that thought. I am grateful for the plan of happiness and for the security that it gives. I am grateful for the atonement and for the chance I have to repent and be forgiven, to become better every day. I am grateful for my Savior and for all that He went through to pay the price of my sins and to make it possible for me to go back to return to live with Him one day. I love this gospel! And I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am the primary chorister in my ward and am convinced I have the best calling in the world! I love singing the songs with the children and feel the spirit as they teach us different messages and principles. Because we don't have kids of our own yet, we often get together with other young couples in the ward for Family Home Evening. We share spiritual thoughts, sing hymns, pray together, and of course always have a treat! My husband and I study our scriptures individually as well as a couple daily. I love studying on my own and finding things that pop out to me, but am always blown away when my husband is able to take it to the next level. We also pray on our own morning and night (and several times during the day!) and as a couple each night. Its amazing to realize how many opportunities we have each day to grow closer to our Savior! I'm certainly not perfect, but I try to live my life focused on our Savior Jesus Christ.
