Hi I'm cristianne

I'm a Filipino. I was baptized when I was 10. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young single adult. I just finished my bachelor's degree in entrepreneurial management. Right now I am preparing to serve as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I work as an English tutor.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized with my whole family when I was 10 years old. Because I was just a kid then I just do as my parents say and do that is why I became a member of the church. Though I enjoyed going to church and making friends with children of my age, attending church activities, etc. But when I was growing up, I had a desire to have a testimony of the church, the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, and the Lord. I want to have a testimony like my parents' and my older sibling's. I want to know the truth for myself. So I decided to read the entire Book of Mormon, ponder, and pray about it. As I do it I found myself becoming a better person. I had the desire to be a good daughter to my parents and a good sister to my siblings. Service to my family and my fellowmen became my second nature. I thought I must be doing the right thing. After finishing reading the Book of Mormon from cover to cover I humbly knelt before my Heavenly Father and asked Him if the Book of Mormon is true, if Joseph Smith is really his prophet, if The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His only church on earth. Then tears started flowing from my eyes. I had that peaceful feeling inside, an assurance, an answer, a testimony, that indeed the Book of Mormon is true, that prophet Joseph Smith is His instrument is restoring His church on earth, that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His only true church upon the earth. I know these things to be true. Heavenly Father answers prayers. If you and me will come to Him with all humility and ask Him if these things are true, He will answer and upbraid us not. I'm a Mormon and I'm proud of it!

How I live my faith

I'm a teacher in Sunday School for newly converts and investigators of the Church. I also serve as a Family history consultant in our ward where we assist people and teach them in making their genealogy.
