Hi I'm Mykell Hunsaker

I'm a Senior in College, a Disney Princess fan, a chocolate lover, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Sandy, Utah. I've lived in four states Arizona, Missouri, Indiana, and now Utah! I'm a student at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I am majoring in Mass Communications; my dream is to be a broadcaster. I love watching professional basketball. I am Disney's Sleeping Beauty's biggest fan. I grew up as a Mormon and am loving the life I live in the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but because I lived in different states I didn't grow up around a lot of LDS people. I was judged even as a young child about my Religion. I decided I needed to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was true. I pondered and prayed and gained knowledge for myself that this is the true church of God. I have never second-guessed that answer to my prayer and my testimony of the gospel of the church strengths daily. I know that my family can be together forever if we live worthy and obey our Sealing Covenants we made in the Temple. I know the LDS Temples are Houses of the Lord. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and that He gave His Son so that I may live again free from sin. I know Christ lives. I know He will come again. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and that he really did restore the true church of God. I know the Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ. I'm thankful for the knowledge of where I came from and who I am. Being a Mormon has given me this knowledge. I am a Mormon because it brings me true happiness, everlasting happiness forever with my Family.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures and strive to follow Christ's example. I am the secretary in my Relief Society and I have the amazing opportunity to serve my fellow sisters in my Ward which is a great lesson and has taught me about service and love. I also try to share what I know to be true whenever the opportunity is available.
