Hi I'm Emily

I love running and enjoy playing sports. In January I will be serving in the Peru Lima South Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently returned home from the Peru Lima, South mission. I am a college student studying Business and Accounting. Some of my favorite classes have been U.S. History, Economics, Nutrition, and Accounting. I am the oldest of five children and love spending time with my family. I love the outdoors and visiting new places. I love running and all kinds of sports, but my favorite is basketball. During the Fall, I helped coach a competitive girls basketball team and enjoyed every minute of it. I love fashion and putting classic outfits together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have felt the love of Jesus Christ in my life and have received hope through His Atonement. I love this gospel and find joy in following Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

The past few months I have served as a nine and ten year old Primary teacher. love reading the Book of Mormon. Many positive things in my life have come from writing down what I am grateful for every night. The past few months I have been serving as religious instructor for nine and ten year old children. One of my favorite parts of teaching them is listening to them sing about Christ. I love reading the different stories of courage and truth found in the Book of Mormon and how they relate to our lives today. Each night, in my journal, I write down things I am grateful for. By doing this I have gained a positive outlook on life and I have realized how much I have to be thankful for. I try to live my faith through my every day actions and sharing my light with everyone around me. I know that Christ loves each and everyone of us, no matter our circumstances.
