Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in Utah, play basketball, hunt, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played basketball my whole life, and I'm currently playing on my high school team. I love playing basketball, but when I'm not doing that I love to be outside. I hike, hunt and fish whenever I can. I am an Eagle Scout, and I work with the younger kids in my neighborhood on getting their award. It's weird but I actually enjoy school. I am in AP classes, and really enjoy them. I am currently preparing to serve a mission for the church, and I can't wait. After serving my mission I will be attending college where I want to work on becoming an engineer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I love it. I feel peace every time that I think about the Savior and what he has done for me. I know that I'm not perfect, but I have the knowledge that through Christ's atonement I can repent and make myself clean. This gives me so much comfort because on my own there is no way I could return to God. It is only through Christ that I can return to God. My ultimate goal is through using Christ's Atonement I will be able to return to God and live with him someday.

How I live my faith

I am a priest in my ward, and I am doing my best to fulfill my callings. I work with all the young men in my ward. I help organize most of the activities we do throughout the week. We go on campouts, play sports and do other fun activities. On Sundays I help teach lessons, and help other people grow spiritually when they come to church. I try to be an example to other people at school. I try to live the church's standards at all times. I make sure to live my life so that the people that I come in contact with feel the spirit of Christ. I want them to know that Christ loves them and he wants them to come live with him again.
