Hi I'm Sally

A former professional singer, I currently own a booking agency for entertainers and performing artists. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and cousin. I have dedicated the majority of my life to creating an eternal family by performing those roles to the best of my ability. Those relationships are forever. My profession is somewhat unusual for a Mormon woman: entertainment booking agent. I secure talent for clients who want entertainment at their corporate and community events, concerts, fairs, festivals, weddings, and private parties. Many people ask how I became an agent. As a child, I created puppet shows, acted in plays, and enjoyed singing and dancing as a member of a traveling musical ensemble. Later, I sang lead in a dance band in southern California. I also wrote and directed some community and church productions. After I married, I put most of my time into raising four energetic children. While my kids were young, I led a few choirs for the church and taught music lessons, but most of my life was spent cooking, cleaning, chauffeuring, and cheering for my children as I watched them at their various sports and music activities. Twenty years later, when my youngest child became an adult, I took the advice of a friend, dusted off my own musical skills and performance experience, and started my own entertainment agency. In the worldly and often corrupt entertainment industry, my Mormon faith helps me stay grounded in what is truly important: family, integrity, hard work, and an eternal perspective.

Why I am a Mormon

Everything I have ever experienced points to the reality that I have a loving Heavenly Father, and that His Son, Jesus Christ, lives and loves me. I am convinced that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true. I believe that it was written by ancient prophets for the benefit of those of us who live in these latter days. To me, the Book of Mormon is a testament and witness of Jesus Christ. I am compelled to learn from it regularly to gain the most wisdom possible to assist me in navigating the difficult waters of mortality. Jesus Christ is the only Perfect Being who ever lived. He is at the helm; He always has been and always will be. I believe that the Mormon Church is led by inspired, though imperfect, human beings who try their best to follow a perfect Lord. I am a Mormon because I believe that this church is the only organization approved by God to administer the ordinances necessary to return to Him someday.

How I live my faith

I have shared my performance experience and talents with members of my church and community in several ways. I have directed youth and adult choirs and written plays and pageants. Using my performance and musical skills adds interest and "spice" to the lessons that I am called upon to teach. One of my favorite things to do is to bring my guitar to the church nursery. I sit on the carpet with the two and three year old children, while their parents are in Sunday School, and keep them entertained with my renditions of "I Am a Child of God" and "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam" and other favorites.
