Hi I'm Tabitha Slaughter

Florida girl. I'm hearing impaired. I'm a wife to my best friend. I'm a mother. I'm a Hospice Nurse. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a busy mom and wife. My family is awesome. My husband is my best friend. I have a stepson and a daughter. I love them so much. I work full time as a Hospice Nurse. I love my work and have gain much strength and faith by taking care of people. One of my favorite things to do is go on a random unplanned trip to the beach. I love guitars and people that know how to play them. I can listen for hours. I seek out the simple things in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't grow up in the Mormon church. I just always had a love for Jesus Christ. I attended many churches throughout my life, praying and pondering, just trying to find my way. By the time I met Mormon missionaries I had no interest in being a member of a church. Each time I met with them I had many questions and we studied and read both the Bible and The Book of Mormon. Most importantly I prayed and asked Heavenly Father to guide me. As I continued to learn the beliefs of the church, I realized it was true. It was everything that was missing before and I knew I wanted to be baptized. That was 5 years ago. I continue to follow the gospel. My life has been so blessed. I'm am thankful for the gospel. I am thankful for the prophet. I know the church is true. I know my Savior Jesus Christ lives. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best example I can. I attend church and continue to grow and learn. I live my faith by loving those around me and I try to help out when needed.
