Hi I'm Mason

I grew up in Utah and love to be outside. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in Hyrum, Utah. My parents are active members of the church and I'm grateful for the example that they set for me. I love being outside, especially when hiking, backpacking, and camping is involved. Of course I also very much enjoy kicking back and watching a good movie.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I grew up in the church I don't have a conversion story to tell. I've always been an active member and, like most people, my testimony has had its ups and it's downs. However, as I've studied the scriptures I feel as though my understanding of Jesus Christ's gospel has been growing larger. I love the scriptures and I like to be able to study them and learn for myself the truths they contain. I believe that every member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is a convert in one way or another. Whether raised in the church or not, all of our testimonies need to be nurtured more and more so that they can continue to grow.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel and I try and live by following in the Savior's footstep's by being kind and charitable to everyone I meet. I'm currently serving as a missionary in the Washington, Spokane mission. I love the experience I'm having with watching as people become closer to Christ through their actions and their decisions. I'm amazed at how much growth people can have as they strive to live the principles of the gospel. There is always more to learn, and it is incredible to be a part of someone's learning and growing process. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." -Proverbs 3:5-6
