Hi I'm Ann

I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother. I work with children with disabilities. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I share the joy and craziness and of life with a wonderful husband. We have five grown children and seven grandchildren. I have a bachelor's degree in English which I completed many years ago. Just last year, I returned to school and will soon have a special education certification. I currently work as an elementary school aide.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since I was baptized at age 8. As I was growing up, I felt of the reality of a living God and of his love for me. I saw in the lives of my parents and other family members the blessings of living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Their lives were more productive and happier because of their commitment to living God's commandments and following the Savior. Gradually I received my own testimony of the truthfulness of what I believe in. I'm convinced of Heavenly Father's love for me and for each one of his children. I have experienced the healing power of the Savior's atonement in my life. The covenants I have made with my Heavenly Father to follow his commandments and the hope that I have for eternal life and eternal family relationships have brought me great peace and comfort during the storms of life including the death of a son. Daily I feel grateful for the love and the mercy of my Heavenly Father and of his son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Praying daily, reading scriptures, being a friend to those around me, and preparing for the Sunday School lessons I teach to 14-15 year old teenagers all help me to feel close to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
