Hi I'm Sarah Gregg

I'm from Seattle, Wa. I'm an artist. I love doing jigsaw puzzles with my family. I'm kind of maybe possibly a nerd. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've served a mission in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission. I studied art at Brigham Young University of Idaho and Provo. I like fictional books and I play the piano and the ukulele. I took 3 years of Ballroom dance and especially love the Waltz and Samba. I have a parakeet named Gizmo. I grew up in the Church and have a wonderful family where we're all best friends with each other! We love to travel together and have been to places around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

If I were not a member of this church, I don't know where I'd be. Life is so good as a Mormon! I have a knowledge of the truth, not just through study, but by experience and receiving revelation from God. I cannot deny the blessings I've been given as I've lived the Gospel as I've seen God's hand in my life time and time again. I'm so grateful for all I've been given, including my weaknesses and trials, to help me draw closer to Christ.

How I live my faith

Living the Gospel is a way of life, which I try to live everyday. I try to keep the commandments and live up to the standards the Lord has set. I try to become more Christ-like by how I view and treat others and surround myself with those who do like-wise.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Sarah Gregg
Scriptures and prophets have shared with us who we are. We all share a divine nature that we are literal spirit children of our Heavenly Father and that we can live with him again. This is what we call "eternal life". God created a "Plan of Happiness" so that we could achieve eternal life. Part of this plan was for us to be given the gift of agency, which is a gift that allows us to choose our actions, right or wrong, and to experience the consequences of both. Another gift that is given to us our mortal bodies, the one you're in now, and the knowledge that ALL of us that have come to Earth will be resurrected with perfect bodies. The greatest gift of all that has been given to us is Jesus Christ's atonement for the sins of the world. No unclean thing can dwell with God and He knew that we would all make mistakes, so Christ offered to take those punishments for himself for all of us. This atonement has already occurred for all of us already. In order for it to have an affect on us and make us clean, Christ simply asks that we follow Him. He wants to lift our burdens but we have to choose and trust in Him. This is His Church in the Latter-Days. Show more Show less
