Hi I'm Gordon Chan

I was born and raised in Hong Kong. I like taking pictures and playing basketball. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I went to Dixie State College and then transferred to University of Utah. Studying aboard was not easy since that was my first time away from home. But I like to meet new people and be friend with them. I like to learn new things such as solving a rubik's cube, learning japanese, making scarfs, etc. I am now serving in California Arcadia mission. I have gained new knowledge while on my mission. And the most important thing I have come to realize is how the restored gospel has blessed my life and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I always prayed and read the Book of Mormon and the Bible with my family every day. We spent time together as a family every week. Through these I built my faith in Jesus Christ. I know that the gospel is true because I have seen many blessings given to my family. Now I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I leave my family for two years to share the gospel, also known as the plan of happiness. Through studying the scriptures, praying, pondering, applying the gospel, I have learned more and love to share my testimonies with others. During this time, my faith has been strengthened. I love my mission.

How I live my faith

I am trying very hard to talk to everyone and share with them about our loving Heavenly Father and he has a plan for us. And also how family can be together forever.
