Hi I'm Ann Marie

I grew up in a small rural town in northern Utah on a family dairy farm. Now I work in downtown Salt Lake City. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a career woman, I have had a lot of opportunities to work in public and private sectors of business and feel blessed to have accomplished as much as I have in my life. The most important goals in life have been to attend college, serve a mission and marry in the temple. I enjoy adventures, travel, and a lot of outdoor activities such as hiking, running, camping and water skiing. I also like to dream and work towards making those dreams come true. I feel the most important thing in life is to be kind to others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a hard working Mormon family with parents who were wonderful examples of dedication, loyalty, faith and sacrifice. I was raised to honor and respect our ancestors, faith and to be obedient. After moving away to college I traveled and lived in other states and countries. While learning and growing, I also searched the scriptures, read the teachings of Christ, and have been inspired to keep the faith I was taught as a child. What keeps my devotion to Jesus Christ and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the spirit that brings peace to my mind and heart that what I am living is true.

How I live my faith

In my current ward I assist with missionary work, but have, in the past, been involved in primary music, youth activities, and my favorite, teaching the gospel. I have friends and co-workers of all different faiths and backgrounds and really enjoy the diversity. What I learned on my mission was a lot about people. We are all different and I can learn a lot from others no matter what they believe and how differently they think than me.
