Hi I'm Callie Andersen

I'm a mom of 3, a student, a reader, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a mom to three amazing children ages 7, 4, and 1 (2 boys and 1 girl). I have been married to the love of my life for 10 1/2 years. We lived in Las Vegas for the first 7 years of our marriage and returned to my home state of Mississippi when I decided I wanted to go back to school. I'm currently in school to become a physical therapist assistant. I love spending time with my kids and my husband. I love being back in the south where we are surrounded by family and get to spend a ton of time with all of them.

Why I am a Mormon

I gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel at the ripe age of 13. Our youth group had an amazing opportunity to travel to Nauvoo and visit some church history sites. At the age of 13 I was excited about going on a trip but really didn't care a whole lot about what we were going to be seeing. That all changed when we went to Carthage jail. As soon as we walked into the jail I was immediately touched by the spirit. Tears streamed from my eyes as I walked the stairs and realized that I was walking where a prophet of God had walked. As I stood in the room where Joseph was held behind bars my heart ached. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Joseph Smith was a prophet and they everything he had testified of was true. From that day on my life changed. I wanted to live closer to Christ and living the teachings of the gospel have brought me closer to him. I know this is the Lord's church and that's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings, holding church callings, reading my scriptures everyday and having personal and family prayers.
