Hi I'm Toni Clawson

I'm attending school to become a Special Educator, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Toni, and I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the church and in Utah. I enjoy playing the piano, baking cupcakes, and working with individuals with disabilities. I am currently attending college where I am studying to become a special educator. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with God's choicest spirits. There is something about these individuals that is simply amazing, and I feel so privileged to be able to see them for who they truly are, something some people never have the opportunity to see. I am married to a wonderful man. We were married in the temple of the Lord, where we were sealed for time and all eternity. To me, this is my greatest blessing. I am married to a wonderful man that I love with all my heart and who I have the opportunity to be together even after we leave this life. This truth brings great peace to my heart, especially knowing that this blessing will apply to our family when we welcome children into our home. I know that families can be together forever and that families are the biggest blessing in this life and the next.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because I believe in Christ, and I believe that this is truly his church here on the earth. I believe in a living prophet who leads and guides us even today, and I believe that true happiness is only obtained by living the standards God has laid out for his saints. I was raised in the Church, and some may say that this means I am a born and bred Mormon. But I too had to come to the conclusion that this church was true, and I had to know it for myself. I promise that as you look to God and earnestly seek an answer as to whether or not this church is true, that He will let you know that it is His church and that it is His desire that you should be blessed to be a part of it. He wants you to be a part of His fold. He wants you to come unto Him. He loves you with a perfect love. He knows you, and He wants you with Him. Pray, ask Him, and He will tell you.

How I live my faith

I attend church each Sunday with my husband. We are blessed to be able to serve as ward missionaries in our ward. We get to meet lots of great people and work very closely with the full time missionaries in our ward. I love my calling because it allows me a chance to share my faith with others and create new friendships along the way. As a part of living my faith I also live to a higher standard. I try not to do anything that would prevent others from seeing who I truly am: A daughter of God. I choose to act as such in my daily life, simply to thank my Heavenly Father for this life he has given me. I try to not only share my beliefs through the words I speak, but by the way I act.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Toni Clawson
Joseph Smith was a boy who at the age of 14 prayed to know which church he should join. As he was praying Joseph saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. When he was 17, other heavenly messengers appeared to him. They prepared him for his role in restoring Christ's church on the earth. Joseph Smith was a prophet. He translated the Book of Mormon, and he restored the church to the earth. He was martyred for his beliefs, he died for what he believed in, and this to me, is the greatest testimony of this gospel.
