Hi I'm Lauray Huntington

I'm a member of the LDS Church. I grew up in a small town named Moccasin, which has about 56 people.

About Me

I'm 18. I'm married. I grew up in a small town that had about 56 people in it. My High School had 72 people in my Senior year. I want to become a Teacher, teaching either Science or History, But family comes first in my life, right after the lord. I have had many health problems, with the support of My family, Friends and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I'm here today happy and healthy, and with more friends than I thought I could ever have. I love music and love creating music. I play bass clarinet, Clarinet, and Tenor Sax. I love to sing and dance. I high school i played Volley ball, Soft ball, and I Danced. I Cheered one year, I wasn't to much into it. I love working with my hands. I took Cabinetry and got a full right Scholarship for Cabinetry. Working in a wood shop is relaxing to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church. But it was My Choice to join the Church. I joined the Church, at the age of 8, not really understanding what it was really about. When I was 16 I started to really understand what the church does, what it is really about. It's about bringing people to Christ, and helping them find the light of Christ in their life. When I turn 16 I found the light of Christ in my life. Every helping hand, every blessing every little good thing in my life came from God. I found happiness even in the darkest of times. but only when I was focused on the Lord. I continue going to church to learn more about Christ and how he would like us to live. I Do everything in my life trying to return back to him. I know we can live with God again someday. I know Joseph Smith is a true prophet, that he brought back the true, and ever living Gospel. I know that every Prophet since is called by God. I know that Tomas S. Monson is the living prophet. that he leads and guides us today. He will never lead the people of the Lord astray. I know Christ Died for every one, so we may have a way back to the Father. I know They both love us more than anything else in the world. In the Name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is threw scheduling activities for the Women in my ward. We play games, we do Service projects, most importantly we build friendships. I also Visit teach some of the women in my word. making sure they have help when they need it, and a friend when they may have no one else. My companion, Kelly, and I give them a spiritual thought once a month. I'm willing to help out when ever anything is needed at any time the church needs it.

What is the Law of Chastity?

Lauray Huntington
The power to create children is very sacred. Our Father in Heaven has commanded that the sacred power and privilege of sexual relations be exercised only between a man and woman who are legally married. This is the law of chastity. It means that we must not have sexual relations before we are married, and after we are married we should have sexual relations only with our husband or wife. Keeping the law of chastity brings safety, happiness, peace, and self-respect. It also deepens married love and protects families. Breaking this law is serious. But those who have broken it can gain forgiveness and peace through repentance and obedience. God wants the best for you and for all of His children. Following God’s plan of reserving intimacy for marriage will help you and your family be happy. Show more Show less
