Hi I'm Gina

I was raised Catholic but joined the Church after meeting my wonderful husband. I was baptized in 2009.

About Me

I am a stay at home with 2 of the most adorable Children. I am also expecting our third baby. I love being a mom more than anything in the world. It brings me so much joy watching them grow, learn and play. I admit sometimes things get crazy around here, but I wouldn't change anything. I have been married to my husband for almost 10 years. I feel very blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I actually never intended to join the Church. I felt I couldn't live the life. I couldn't go to church for three hours, refrain from shopping on Sundays, and give up coffee. Now, as I type that I feel selfish. Heavenly Father gave his only begotten Son. The least I could do, is obey his commandments. As I began to go to Church before becoming a member I slowly learned the gospel. The more I learned of the Plan of Salvation everything started to make sense to me. I wanted to be with my family for all time and eternity not just here on earth. I wanted to go to the Temple to be sealed to my Husband and children. So, I started taking the lessons from the missionaries and doing the things I needed to do to prepare for Baptism and going to the Temple. Since I have joined the Church, I can honestly say I am truly the happiest I have ever been in my entire life. I am filled with the Holy Spirit. I feel closer to my Heavenly Father. I know he hears me and answers my prayers. I know this Church is true. I am grateful for the men in our Church who hold the Priesthood and can give blessing to those who are ill or need comfort. I am also grateful for fellow members who teach my children the gospel. And Home Teachers and Visiting Teachers who come and check on our family and share messages with us. If you are searching for something and not sure what it is... I would encourage you to take the missionary lessons. Pray and read the Scriptures and allow the Spirit to testify to you of the Truthfulness of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am a Convert to the Church, and have already held many callings where I have been able to serve others. I was the Humanitarian Specialist, where I organized activities for the women in our ward to donate things to shelters in our community. I have also been the Enrichment Coordinator where I planned fun and spiritual activities for the Women to do once a month. I have been the 2nd Counselor in Primary which is our Children's ministry, teaching the gospel to the Children of the Church and visiting the children on their birthdays with cupcakes. Currently I am the 2nd Counselor in our Young Woman's program. Where I aid in the developing of their faith, keeping the commandments, and preparing them for their divine role of a wife, mother, and Church leader some day. Most importantly preparing them to enter the temple and keep temple covenants. I also attend Church every Sunday. Where I strengthen and grow my testimony.
