Hi I'm Kadan

I love cinema, have a passion for cars, and greatly enjoy technology. I'm currently serving as a Mormon Missionary in Tennessee.

About Me

I grew up in a small town, and was very sheltered by my parents. They both have very strong religious beliefs, and they wanted to protect their children from evil influences. I was even home schooled until age 16, when my parents got a divorce. I entered the public schooling system as a junior in high school, and struggled very much socially that first year. I was angry, frustrated, and depressed that entire year, but managed to do very well academically. I then realized I needed to switch my mindset, and realized there were a lot of opportunities opening up for me. I decided to be positive and grateful for these blessings rather than continue dwelling on negative thoughts. I graduated in the top 10 of my class, and have completed one year of college since that time. I love life, and crave new experiences and opportunities! I have a passion and curiosity for cars and motorsports, and greatly enjoy the experiences of driving different vehicles. I appreciate quality cinematography, and have enjoyed experimenting with video creation. I also enjoy working with and on computers and other technology. I am fascinated by the many ways technology can be used to improve everyday lifestyle, and I am so excited to see future technologies develop. I like to work before I play, and have learned well how to work hard. But I also like to play hard! I love to laugh and make others laugh, and I believe we are meant to have fun every day as we experience the miracle of life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and went to church almost every week growing up. As I grew and learned, I gained more and more knowledge about not only the beliefs of my church, but also the amazing history of the gospel. I've gained my own testimony of this church little by little, piece by piece. And my testimony is still growing stronger with every spiritual experience I encounter. I have seen personally the blessings of living the gospel in my own life and in the lives of my loved ones. So often I watch an experience unfold, and smile as I realize the involvement of my Heavenly Father. I receive so many blessings for following the commandments he has given us, that I know he loves me. And I love him very much, and am so grateful for the ways he helps me to love others and succeed and meet my own expectations, as long as they align with his loving plan for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. I try to be a good example and also a friend to those around me. I have helped organize and conduct various service projects for the community and specific people. I have served in various presidencies as we gather for church meetings and events, where I help conduct and carry out such events. I live the beliefs of my faith every day, and do my best to show my love for God by the way I treat others. I am careful with what substances enter my body, and try to stay healthy and fit, so I can have the blessing of clear mindedness. I cherish clever ideas, and would hate to lose the ability to come up with ideas that improve my life and enable me to better help others. I am currently living my faith in the best way I know how by sharing it with others daily. As a missionary, I have the privilege of putting all of my focus on sharing the joys of the Gospel with everyone I can. I have seen the same light I feel brighten the lives of others as well.
