Hi I'm Brittany

I love writing. I love to play the piano. Most of all, I love my family; and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I love to write, especially poems. I love to experiment with words and organize them, the best I can, into constructive phrases. I also love to play the piano. I am not great at either, writing or playing the piano, but love to practice often. Both writing and playing the piano are ways for me to relax and get my mind off of the busyness of life. I love being with good people. I love helping others be happy. I love seeing the lives of those I love brighten. I also love being with my family. My gratitude for my family grows deeper and deeper everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by two loving, caring parents who were always active members in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or also known as the Mormon Faith. Thus, my parents always attended church meetings, and participated in helping those in the congregation. They have both participated in many capacities of service. They never got paid for their service, but the blessings are countless. They taught me to love and to serve. They taught me that as we follow the example of Jesus Christ, we will always be blessed. I know that I was raised by two Mormon parents. They did not push or persuade me to believe the same things they believe. However, because of their example and their faith, I have come to know these truths for myself. As I have constantly attended church and participated in service opportunities, my love for the Savior, Jesus Christ and His teachings has grown tremendously. I know that my life is so great because of what I know to be true; and what I know to be true is centered on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Because my family raised me to live high standards and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I am happy and I know my life is forever blessed.

How I live my faith

I love being with others- talking with them and learning from them. I love to see others' lives brighten. I want others to feel happy and loved. I know that other people are important. I know that it is important for me to help others when I can. I want others to feel like they can call upon me for help. I teach children, youth, and adults when I can. I do my best to accomplish the tasks that I have been asked to do. I want to and try to live the teachings of Jesus Christ. I try to live my life in a way that is in accordance with the Lord's standards, and not the world's. I know the Lord's standards are most important than the world's standards. I know that following the Savior is supremely important. As we do, we will be happy.
