Hi I'm Ralph Rasmussen

I am a husband; and a father of 8 children. I am a retired attorney. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Because my Dad was in the military, I traveled a lot with him while I was growing up. I served a mission for the Church in Denmark and later graduated from BYU in Animal Science. I then worked 16 years before returning and getting a law degree. I love to play golf although my scores are not indicative of my passion for the game. I enjoy gardening and watching our grandchildren grow up.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church all of my life. My testimony grew over the years as I tried to live the gospel principles. I have had prayers answered, seen the results of paying tithes and offerings, been comforted by gospel principles in times of sorrow and loss. I know that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are real and are totally involved in trying to help us endure and grow while experiencing this earth life. I am grateful that they have given us scriptures to help and guide us. I know there are prophets and apostles among us and their inspired leadership is critical for us to follow. I have a strong conviction of life after death and the reuniting of loved ones and families.

How I live my faith

I have served in numerous teaching and leadership positions in the Church which has allowed a variety of experiences both within the Church setting and in community settings. Besides the mission I served while I was young my wife and I are preparing to serve a mission together.
