Hi I'm Abby

I'm a Nurse. I am headed to New York on a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a very active family and love the outdoors. My passions include skiing, boating, rock climbing, cycling, and running. I graduated from Brigham Young University and work as a Nurse. I love meeting new people and my career has allowed me to meet some incredibly strong and inspiring people. I have loved the experiences I've had in my short nursing career but, I am putting it on hold to go share my testimony with others. I will be serving a mission in the New York, New York South Mission for the next 18 months. I can wait to share the joy I have felt from this gospel with the people in New York. I love being a member of this church!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into a devote Mormon family, I have come to know of the truth of this church for myself. I know that our savior, Jesus Christ, has suffered for our sins and imperfections so that we can one day be perfected and live once again with God. The atonement and the doctrine of our church have brought me peace and comfort in times where I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am Mormon because as a Mormon I have found peace in times of turmoil, the peace that surpasses understanding.

How I live my faith

My faith in Jesus Christ affects all areas of my life. Most importantly though it impacts how I treat other people. I have seen suffering and pain through my experiences as a nurse that have made one thing clear to me... life is not easy. I think if we could see into one another's heart we would be more compassionate. My faith in Jesus Christ has made me realize that Christ like love is possible and when I fail on my quest to attain it, I can repent and be made whole again.
