Hi I'm Paula

I grew up all over the world as the youngest in a U.S. Air Force family. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have been happily married since 2001. I am Mom to five wonderful children and Grammy to four beautiful grandbabies. I am currently working as a high school English teacher. I love to sing, dance, play the piano, bake, knit, crochet, and read. I also love to travel and learn new skills.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised as a Mormon, I came to truly value my membership in the Church when I was in my twenties. I was working as an assistant manager in a clothing store and was unable to have most Sundays off. Because of the hours I was required to work, I was not able to attend church meetings. I felt my level of spirituality dropping, almost as if it was a physical thing. I knew that I needed to attend Church to take the sacrament, learn the gospel lessons, and feel the fellowship of the saints. Without another job in line, I quit and trusted in the Lord. He did not let me down. I soon found an even better job and was able to return to full attendance of all my meetings. My spirit soared, and I learned that the gospel is the light that I need in my life to sustain me and fill my spirit!

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the Church as the Music Conductor, Music Coordinator, and a counselor in the Young Women's organization, working with girls aged 12-18 years. I have had many opportunities to teach children, youth, and adults throughout my life. I have also had many opportunities to share my musical talents in singing, leading music, and playing the piano. I am so grateful to be able to serve and be an example to my brothers and sisters in the Gospel.
