Hi I'm Brandon Yaeger

Currently Serving Active Duty Military Service as a Naval Aircrewman. I am a Mormon. Proudly serving God and the U.S.A.

About Me

Raised in a small valley with a loving community. Born into the LDS Church with humble parents who sacrificed more than I can still comprehend to give me a happy childhood. With two sisters I attended High School and graduated in 2011. Enlisted for six years in the United States Navy as a Naval Aircrewman Operator. Went through Bootcamp, Candidate School, A School, SERE School and FRS in 2012 - 2013. Met the love of my life during 2012's Christmas season. Married my wife in March of 2013. Received orders to my permanent squadron and am currently deployed. I fly in the mighty P-3 aircraft. Throughout my life I've seen the good and bad in all kinds of men and woman. I've learned to love them all whether they be my brothers and sisters in arms or my enemies. I believe Christ lives through all of us in different ways and it's up to service and dedication to bring his touch to those living without it. My life long goal is to serve The Lord and my country while bringing the gospel to all corners of the earth. Inside of the Military I've made life long friends. My greatest friend however is my lovely wife. She is the battery driving my soul. Being away from my wife through military work makes a man see things differently. I have to learn how to express love a thousand miles away. It to me is one of God's many tests. However I know through the love of god, these tests are laying the foundation in my life. Because of them I have gained a strong testimony.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this church is true. You can't see the top unless you've hit the bottom. I've had plenty of trials in my life. So many at times it's hard to imagine. However, during all these trials I've Managed to always turn towards our Heavenly Father. He has given me a life, a family, a beautiful wife who I will be sealed to for all time and eternity. Though my job may be hard he has given me the strength to continue and blessed me with the needs of my life. I will always have a testimony of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ the Son of God. Not only from the scripture studies I've read in my life but because of the ongoing Christlike example I have seen from many people throughout my life. I love my life and Heavenly Father has made that possible. I have no doubt that I will be living eternity among side my family and friends. I know the Church was restored upon this earth through the capable hands of Joseph Smith. I know he is a true prophet of god and that we have a true prophet of god living among us today. We live in an age of awful temptations. Just remember those are of this earth and if we stray from those things we know is not of our Heavenly Father... He will bless us. Whether you are having a bad or good day remember you can always talk to your father in heaven. I say these things in the name of thy son Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of christ in all aspects of my life. I try to spread the gospel at work in the Navy, at church in my ward, and especially at home with my wife. I get involved in the community and serve as many brothers and sisters I can. Being a member in the military I strive to help those in need both foreign and domestic. I can relate to all service members and serve a life long mission helping those other service members who need help with the hard lifestyle they may currently be living. I strive to allow those who cannot be at church or near family to feel the love of god and partake of the sacrament and receive those blessings they need.
