Hi I'm Kami

I'm a mother of two beautiful daughters. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful husband of 10 years and I am a stay at home mother. I love being able to spend time with my two precious daughters. I love meeting new people in our communities. I enjoy being involved in community events and entertaining in my home.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony has grown slowly throughout my entire life. I was baptized at 8 years old, but I wasn't converted to the gospel and truly had a testimony of my own until my senior year in High School. I did not attend church in my younger years. I began attending church my teenage years due to friends reaching out to me. I will forever be grateful for their invitations to mutual and social gatherings; for that is where I began to feel the spirit and wanted to learn more. I know this is Christ's church. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He is my older brother. I am grateful for His Atonement and love that He has for me and for each one of us. I know I have an Eternal Heavenly Father that loves me and is very well aware of me and my family. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and I am grateful for his obedience and sacrifice that he made in order for us to enjoy all of the blessings of the restored gospel today. I'm grateful for the priesthood authority and am blessed to be married to a wonderful man that holds his priesthood sacred. I have felt my Heavenly Father's influence in my life many times; and I pray I will always live worthy of the guidance of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I enjoy participating in our community and my ward. Currently I work with the 6 year children and enjoy teaching them about our Savior. It's incredible to watch their eyes light up when we discuss scriptures and help them to understand how they can learn from the scriptures. I have worked with the youth for many years. I love teenagers. I see how strong their testimonies of their Savior and Heavenly Father is. The world is a different place than when I was a teenager and these youth are so much stronger than I was. They amaze me how they fill their time with indexing, going to the temple, serving, reading scriptures and making good friends. All in a way to avoid temptations. The youth today are an inspiration to me.
