Hi I'm Colin

I joined in 1962 in England, a graphic artist with seven children, now retired and a great grandfather. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Retired great grandfather, artist, photographer, lecturer, love angling and old aeroplanes. Author of aviation articles and a book on the Russian airforce Museum. LDS since 1962, we have seven children.

Why I am a Mormon

My first few years as a member were I suppose more social rather than doctrinal but I have spent the last forty years studying the scriptures and other related texts. The more I study the more my testimony of the church is strengthened. I have found out for myself that the gospel is true, Joseph Smith was indeed a prophet and the scriptures are true.

How I live my faith

Currently an assistant recorder at the London temple. My wife and I served a senior mission for 18 months in North Carolina teaching the gospel. Have served as a Bishop and taught youth and adults for many years.

Where did Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begin?

Colin
Actually it all started before Adam, since then there have been many restorations, the last being with Joseph Smith when The Lord spoke to him in 1820. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Colin
Hebrews is a good place to start to study this, Israel is supposed to be a nation of priests. Show more Show less
