Hi I'm Bruna

I'm from Brazil. I love Anime and Manga. I'm a Mormon :)

About Me

I love reading books such as Harry Potter, I also like anime and manga. I'm very interested in the Japanese Culture but I've never been to Japan before. I consider myself to have a big imagination and even though I'm 19 I'm still a child at heart and you'll often see me jumping up and down when I'm happy. I have a 5 year old niece and a 3 year old nephew, they are so adorable. I love children but when I'm around them they usually cry or make silly faces, I'm not sure why. As of January 30, 2014 I will be serving a full time mission and I'm very happy with it.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was baptized when I was a baby so I grew up in the church. For a very long time I relied on my mother's testimony but I needed to find out myself whether The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church or not, so as this question wandered in my mind for quite a while I decided to pray about it. I never expected anything big, I just wanted an answer... and It came but at that time I did not realize. I continued praying and as I did, my heart was filled with so much joy that I cannot even describe it and I knew that the Holy Ghost was testifying that the church is indeed true.

How I live my faith

My mother taught me that service is one of the best things you can do to please God. I tried helping around the church as much as I could while growing up but I've never felt that It was enough. I've had callings and I was happy to be able to help the Lord's church but always wandered if there was something more I could do. I prayed to Heavenly Father to know what He wanted me to do because I felt something was missing. My answer came weeks later while listening to General Conference as president Thomas S. Monson mentioned the word "Mission". The spirit testified that Heavenly Father wanted me to serve a Mission. I cried with joy when I realized my prayer was answered and I felt loved by Heavenly Father. I'll be going to the Missionary Training Center (MTC) next year and I'm sure they be as happy as I am when they learn about the love that God and Jesus Christ have for them.
