Hi I'm Victor

I'm a Bioinformatics Major, a Korean-American, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Dallas, Texas and spent eleven good years there. My family moved to Overland Park, Kansas and we stayed for four years. Currently my entire family lives in the great state of Utah. I am currently studying Bioinformatics which is a mix of Computer Science and Biology. I spent two great years as a full time missionary for the Church from 2009-2011 in Korea my mother land. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I enjoy sports of all kinds but mainly basketball. I enjoy the outdoors especially fishing. I love to hang out with my friends and watch movies, play games, and socialize. I am grateful for all of the great influences I have had in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the unity I feel not with just my Savior but with all of the members throughout the world. We all have one simple goal and that is to be like our Heavenly Father and return back to Him. I love my religion but I believe it is more than a religion, it is the better, higher standard of living we all seek after.

How I live my faith

I have been a member all of my life. I really feel grateful everyday for the knowledge and truth that my faith has brought me. The words of the living day prophets guide us in these latter days and I know that this gospel is true. I am a Korean sunday school teacher and enjoy teaching in the my native tongue. I am also the Family Home Evening Coordinator. I love my callings and love to serve people in any way I can. The way I think living my faith is service. I have always learned that the greatest teaching method Christ showed was through his own service to others. I always try to do my best in all that I do.
