Hi I'm Annalee

I grew up in the rainy Oregon. I love jumping on the trampoline. I love laughing. I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be active and be outdoors. I could jump on the trampoline or swing on a swing-set for hours. In High School I played soccer and did track and field. I also volunteered in leadership and kept score for wrestling matches. I love being with my family and friends and laughing till it hurts. I like playing group games that gets everyone involved. I recently just finished a semester at BYU-Idaho where I am studying Exercise Physiology. And I am currently taking an 18 month break from college to serve a mission in Tempe, Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I choose to be a Mormon. First of all, I know without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth today. I know that the messages and principles that are taught are true because I have personally prayed about and tested each principle out in my own life and the Spirit has testified of their truthfulness. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, I know that Heavenly Father and Him love us so much and that's why God sent His Son to die for us. I know that because of that sacrifice and through His pain and suffering, that we can be forgiven of our own sins and be able to be clean and live with Heavenly Father again after this life. I have repented and felt the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. I know that our Father in Heaven has a plan for each of us and really cares about each and every one of us. I know that He watches over me, I feel His presence in my life everyday guiding me and protecting me. I know that because He loves us He brought the Book of Mormon to the earth and through the Prophet Joseph Smith restored Christ's true Church back on the earth today. I have read the Book of Mormon, pondered, and prayed about it, and through the power of the Holy Ghost I felt in my heart and know without a doubt it is true. And that by reading it, I can come closer to Jesus Christ by learning of His teachings. I know that we can continue to receive revelation and talk to God today just like in times of old, I have prayed and had my prayers answered immediately. I know God hears and listens to me. I know that He speaks to a prophet of God, who is President Thomas S. Monson, to lead and guide this church. The gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my life in so many ways it is unbelievable. I don't know where I would be right now if I didn't have the knowledge I do. It brings me so much happiness, joy, peace, and comfort. I can't wait to share these feelings to all who are searching.

How I live my faith

I love going to church every sunday where I get to participate and be taught truths of eternity. Growing up as a youth I got to participate in weekly activities that strengthened friendships as we did service and helped each other. I also helped organize a week-long camp for a group of 120 girls that are 12-18 years old. I also get to visit the adult women once a month with visiting teaching. For the semester at college I was a teacher for the adult sisters of the church. And now I am a missionary for 18 months, preaching the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
