Hi I'm Kaitlin Farmer

I grew up in Idaho as the oldest of 10 kids. I graduated from BYU and love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, both playing and watching! Tennis, basketball, and football are a few of my favorites. I am the oldest sibling of ten kids, there are eight girls and two boys! I love my family, being at home is always busy, loud and crazy, but it's always a party. I received my bachelor's in Recreation Management from Brigham Young University a few years ago and now am working in purchasing at an interior design company. I love to create beautiful things, quilting is my newest venture in this area.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in my Savior and his atonement. I believe that Christ died for me and knows my desires, heart aches, and joys. I believe that my prayers are heard and answered, even if it's sometimes not in the way I would expect. I love my family with my whole heart, and I am a Mormon because we believe families can live together forever. Forever! I am a Mormon because I believe in modern revelation, that there is a prophet on the earth today who speaks with God and can direct the church so we can know God's will. I am a Mormon because this church makes me happy!

How I live my faith

I've served as a leader in the women's organization in our church, this involved organizing the lessons and sometimes teaching. Teaching isn't a favorite area of mine, but after doing it a few times it was cool to see how I improved and got more comfortable discussing gospel topics with the women in our congregation. My calling also included watching over and ministering to the women in my church group, this took a lot of work but I know I was prompted by the spirit to know who I could help, and I was blessed from trying my best!
