Hi I'm Jessica McCombie

I am a wife, student, and world traveler. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to try new things! I play the piano, organ, and the ukulele:) I enjoy writing music on the piano. I also love to travel! I am very interested in different cultures and people! I just recently went to the Dominican Republic on a humanitarian trip where we built a school. I LOVED it! I am working on becoming multi-lingual. I am the monkey in the middle with a family of 7, a full time college student, and a full time worker. I also love to run and be healthy! I try to make the most of everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have had the simple but sure witness that the Book of Mormon is true. I have seen the miracles of putting my faith in my Savior. I know that as I follow the council of the living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, that I feel peace. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins, and that he knows and loves me. I am a Mormon because my prayers have been answered when I pray to know if all of this is true. I know that I am a daughter of God, and I will never forget that.

How I live my faith

I love to smile and be happy. I feel that it is when we are happy, others want to be happy also. I try to always stand up for what I know is right...even when it is not always the most popular thing to do. I recently had a calling as the first counselor in the Relief Society in my ward. Through that calling I grew to love service, and to see others as Christ sees them. Living the gospel is an everyday thing. I am not perfect but I know that as I try and become a little more like my Savior Jesus Christ, then I am able to see more clearly moments where I can help others. I live my faith by speaking kindly, dressing modestly, and being grateful everyday for all of my blessings.
