Hi I'm Benjamin

I'm an Army ROTC Cadet. I was raised in Mississippi. I am serving a mission in Piura, Peru. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Benjamin, and I am a full time missionary in the Piura, Peru Mission. I have come to love the people here more than I have ever thought I could. I am also an Army ROTC Cadet, and my ultimate goal is to be an Army Officer. I have learned many things in my 5 years of being a member.

Why I am a Mormon

Before I was born my father died in a car accident, and I have grown up missing that role-model in my life. My mother has always taught me that one day I would meet him, but when I was introduced to the LDS Church I knew that I surely would. My testimony of eternal families is very strong, and that is why I have devoted much of my time to missionary work. I feel it is very important to let everyone know the opportunities that our Heavenly Father has given us. I know that Heavenly Father will never give us a challenge we can't conquer, and I believe it is the Christlike thing to do; to share this message with everyone around us.

How I live my faith

My current calling is a full time missionary. I have the opportunity to help and teach all of God's children about the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This opportunity is a blessing in my life because I am learning to appreciate how God has afforded me the chance to learn how to really be a follower of Jesus Christ. The first convert on my mission ultimately needs to be myself, and I believe serving here with these wonderful people is helping me to do just that.
