Hi I'm Paul Beasley

I am from Canada and love the outdoors. I work as a hunting TV Show host and hunting magazine editor and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I are very blessed to have three young girls. My brothers and I are blessed to make a living pursuing our hobby of hunting. We travel to the most remote places of Canada in pursuit of hunting adventures and document them for a television show. Growing up in Canada I spent a lot of time playing hockey, fishing, camping and hunting when I was young. I now spend a lot of time working, spending time with my family and serving in the church. Those are the things that make me happiest.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 14 I attended a youth conference where other young people my age were sharing their feelings about God and Jesus Christ. I felt such strong feelings of love and joy and tingles throughout my body that I just knew the things they were talking about must be true. I have since felt those feelings many times as I continued to learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ, about modern-day Prophets, about the Priesthood and especially about the Book of Mormon. I have come to learn that these feelings are the Holy Ghost confirming that the things I've learned are true and knowing that these things are true is why I am a Mormon. The great blessings that God has given to me and my family as we live the teachings are why I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Faith is an action word. I believe that living my faith is a daily practice and it starts with providing for my wife and children. I serve as a Bishop in my ward and have witnessed many great blessings in my life and the lives of the other members around me. I have found that even though life may seem difficult at times, my faith in Jesus Christ helps to make my burdens lighter and gives me great peace. I know that I make many mistakes and don't always live up to my faith but when I fall, I always get back up and try to do better next time.
