Hi I'm Doug

I'm a triathlete. I'm a twin. I'm a mormon.

About Me

After high school I bounced around from job to job, a lumber mill, a retirement home, and a computer store before deciding to take mechanical engineering where I've completed all but my final year. I love to snowboard, play guitar and ukulele, run triathlons and spend time with my family and friends. I'm currently serving a mission in maritime Canada and I love to talk.

Why I am a Mormon

After finding repentance for myself I have the desire to share the same light and peace with anyone who will receive it. The insight and aide that I gain when I listen to living apostles has blessed me greatly in my life, and the revelation I receive is priceless to me. My testimony of the Book of Mormon stems largely from the peace I feel while I read it and from the "fruits" I see growing from it. I have a firm testimony of the Savior and His redemptive power, and I know that the Book of Mormon was given to us through His love.

How I live my faith

Before beginning my missionary service I would help to organize activities and was a secretary for a few different church leaders. I love to help shovel and do yard work and every opportunity to fix something. I especially love helping people overcome addictions like tobacco, participating in an addiction recovery program.
