Hi I'm Danny

I grew up in Southern California. I played college basketball in Utah. I served a mission in Argentina and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student at Utah State University. I come from a very large family. My hobbies and interests are sports, music, movies, and of course the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I like finding the Lord in the details of my life, present and past to help identify and shape my future. My service to the Lord in Argentina has helped me discover what I want in life and who I can become.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Lord has answered my prayer through the Holy Ghost. I discovered this at the age of 19, but had always grown up with it. The week before I left on my mission, I gave my farewell talk and while reading the account of the First Vision, was overcome with the Spirit and could not deny what I felt. My testimony grows every time I kneel and open my scriptures. I know the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real, I know He lives. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know the Plan of Salvation answers our every life question, and that through the sealing power I will be with my family for time and all eternity. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and its promise extends to everyone, even those that already have received that answer. I love this Gospel and I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by finding ways in which I can be better in my everyday life. Church callings help me to reach the potential that the Lord has for me. I really enjoy being around the youth of the church and the leaders that are called to teach them. Daily scripture study and prayer helps keep me on track to return to my Heavenly Father. The examples of the members of my family help guide me along the path.
