Hi I'm Mandy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom. I am a clinical social worker. I am the ultimate organizer and over-analyzer. I dream about traveling the world and collect magnets from my travels. I am a friend you can trust your secrets with. I preserve memories by scrapbooking and blogging. And I have a competitive streak when playing games.

Why I am a Mormon

While I know that obedience to the principles of the LDS faith has brought numerous blessings in my life and while I can say with surety that I have a testimony of uniquely LDS principles, such as: a premortal existence, the Book of Mormon, tithing, and baptism at the age of 8 the reason I follow the Mormon faith is because I have received personal revelation that it is true! I know that a loving Savior provides each of us the opportunity to ask questions and receive personal revelation. And he has answered me when I've asked in prayer. Over and over, I have had a confirming witness to my heart and mind that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church with correct doctrine.

How I live my faith

I learn about my Savior alongside my children. We hold a weekly family night and talk about gospel principles. We read our scriptures every morning during breakfast. We sing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Pandora and we pray together daily. We faithfully attend our church meetings weekly. And we enjoy watching Mormon Messages from modern-day apostles. And our faith increases as we volunteer our time and talents to church positions and assignments.
