Hi I'm Stratton

I grew up near Ogden, Utah. I love sports, and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up near Ogden, Utah. I graduated high school in 2013. I am 18 years old and I will be serving a mission in February. I will be serving in the Lima, Peru North mission. I spend most of my time playing sports, and hanging out with family and friends. My favorite sport is soccer, and I have played it all my life. When I return from my mission I plan on attending college at Utah State University.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church gives me purpose. It answers many of the basic questions for me such as; why am I here? And where did I come from? Most importantly, it answers the question of: what is my main goal in life? That is to strive to live my life by following the example of how Jesus Christ lived his. That way I can do my best to be worthy to one day return and live with my Heavenly Father again. Living my life with this goal in mind helps me be kind and charitable to others, it also helps me to be happier and to live a more fulfilling life. The gospel has truly blessed my life. My favorite part about the gospel is that it has shown me how to better communicate with God, and to be able to feel his love through his spirit. I know this church is true, I know that the gospel teachings are true, and that by living them our lives will be blessed. I know that if we use the tools and guidance that this gospel provides we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I feel I am doing my best to live my faith when my goals are centered on feeling my Heavenly Fathers love. I strive to attend church and partake of the sacrament every week. I do my best to have daily study, whether it is scriptures, conference talks, or other church related things. I also do my best to have a daily morning, and evening prayer. When I make mistakes, I do my best to repent and to get back on track. Doing these things helps me feel the spirit and helps me continue to stay anchored and grounded in the gospel.
