Hi I'm Mariah

I grew up in SLC. I'm going on a mission. I'm a mormon

About Me

I am 19 years old, blonde, and about 5' 4'' tall. I absolutely love talking/ singing, dancing and anything that involves others and excitement. There are a total of 5 kids in my family of the kids I am the 2nd oldest. I really don't like the cold weather so Utah is not my favorite place, but it's home. I play the guitar and write my own music which is fun but sometimes takes up a lot of time. Me and my friend Kayli can stay up for hours writing lyrics or music. I have been a dancer for 13 years but quit at the age 15. I love to ride my 4-wheeler at my grandmas house down in Glenwood Utah. It is so fun but I seem to get stuck a lot. I love to Travel I have been to over 13 countries and I find everywhere i go to be an adventure. Last but definitely not least I will starting by far the greatest adventure I will ever go on because I be serving a full time mission in the Mexico, Guadalajara East Mission. I will be going to the provo MTC Feb 19th 2014.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? it's as simple as this. I have FAITH not just the kind of faith that means I believe but a faith that means I KNOW the truth and I will not disregard it. I love my lord and savior Jesus Christ, I know and feel in my heart that he is my savior and he loves me. Without him I would be lost, alone, and not where I am today. For him I owe all that I am and all that I will become.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing service, setting an example, and being involved. These can range from baby sitting/ nannying for free, simply being a friend to someone in need, or stepping up to organize and help with events. Currently I am the Missionary thought leader which means every Sunday I give thoughts relating to being a missionary, or how to better become a missionary in the field and at home.

What is faith?

alma 32:21 is my favorite scripture and I know for certain that faith is the basis for our religion. Without believing you can't even begin to learn, but once you have that faith once you start your eyes will be opened to the truthfulness of the gospel. Show more Show less
