Hi I'm Brandi Garrett

I am a wife, a mother, and a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Brandi and I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love writing and singing music and from the beginning, I've found the most joy come from the times I've seen my music touch other's lives for good. I've learned that we only see how blessed we are when we take time to look at what we already have. Some of my greatest blessings are my family. My husband and two daughters have taught me a lot about myself and my self worth and that it's ok if I'm not perfect right now. I have my own struggles everyday, but because of them, I've learned to be less judgmental of people around me. Everyone has something that challenges them and I truly believe that with enough love, anyone can overcome those challenges.

Why I am a Mormon

Of all the things in life that don't make sense, there has always been one thing I've known for sure and that is that God loves me. This knowledge makes everything else just fit into place. Because He loves me, He sent His Son. Because He loves me, He established families and made a way for us to be together forever. Because He loves me, He calls prophets to lead us today. Everything He does is because He loves us. So in short, to me, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is Love and I believe in love.

How I live my faith

Although I go to church and try to be active in serving and helping those in my community, I feel that my faith is best lived in my own home by being a mother and teaching my daughters that they are good, they are beautiful, they are loved, and they are daughters of God.
